AVORA Health Challenge 2018
Healthy, friendly, fun!
From January 1 through March 31, 2018, AVORA will be sponsoring a Health Challenge where you, the participants, get to set your own goals and compete against yourself and your friends for a positive and encouraging experience. Plus, you get to vote for the people that you feel most deserves to be declared a 1st, 2nd, or 3rd place winner!
This fun, friendly competition will focus on 3 key challenge areas: Weight loss (in pounds), Movement (in miles or repetitions), and the Wild Card category (something that promotes a healthier lifestyle like adequate sleep, meditation, workout, meal choices, yoga, or something that makes your individual life much healthier). So, it’s not about being the fastest, the strongest, or the skinniest. It’s about being your own personal best!
How to participate
1) Create a competition name (You can use your real name, or you can be creative and pick a competition name for fun!)
2) Create your competition goals with the 3 key challenge areas in mind.
Weight: Decide how much weight you want to lose during the challenge.
Movement: Decide what activity type you want to pursue and the distance or repetitions.
Wild Card: Decide what lifestyle activity you want to add or change and how much of it.
3) Provide the Health Challenge Monitor (Hannah VanGilder) with your competition name and your competition goals. You can check in with the Health Challenge Monitor every Friday to post your status. The Health Challenge Monitor will maintain a web page where everyone can see how the competition is stacking up! The url is http://avorahealth.com/hc2018
The prizes will be in the form of gift certificates, but have not yet been confirmed.
